PDS is the proud recipient of two Canadian Event Awards; Best Corporate Team Building Event and Best Single Day Event Produced for a Corporation by a Third Party Planner.

End Hunger Games won for Best Corporate Team Building Event. This Lake Louise event brought the group together to collaborate and work as a team. As well, it incorporated a charity give back to the community with the intention to raise awareness of the chosen corporate social responsibility initiative and demonstrate company values.

“Thank you to our clients, and to Outback Team Building & Training for collaborating on this amazing event,” says PDS Senior Operations Manager, Amanda Dreger. “We are all so proud to be recognized, not only for a great event but for the contribution of over $6000 to the food bank of the Bow Valley.”

Our second award is for Best Single Day Event Produced for a Corporation by a Third Party Planner. When designing Urban Rainforest, it was paramount to our client that this event was cutting edge, beyond creative, complete with surprising and engaging transitions, impressive F&B and “Instagrammable” moments. This West Coast Canadian Rainforest, complete with larger-than-life treehouses, shimmering lakes, a camping tent, and a thunderstorm to kick off the dance party, impressed the “Best of the Best” for this luxury realty brand’s global event.

“I am so proud of my team for this one,” says PDS Director of Production & Design, Terri Samson. “There were over 150 crew members on this event, 4 days of set up, and an unbelievable amount of passion and energy that went into this production.  Thank you to Canadian Special Events for this honour.”
