A magical evening in the Rockies, where the client’s vision was to have an eclectic twist on a vintage circus.
After sourcing the perfect large-scale authentic, vintage props, the indoor and outdoor spaces at the Banff Centre were set with a variety of themed seating, food stations, bars, carnival tents with festoon lighting to create a vibrant and lively atmosphere. Carnival music played throughout the space, roving circus entertainers performed shocking and interactive side- shows amongst the crowd and at feature side-stage shows – knife swallowing, walking on glass, contact juggling, flame eating, to name a few.
The Banff Centre catered a circus themed, small plate dinner encouraging guests to roam. All serving dishes and utensils were disposable, biodegradable and themed to the colours of the décor, making the event seamless.
Following the dinner hour as the sun was setting over the mountains, guests were beckoned to the Amphitheatre where we had 450 custom, red concert chairs and VIP table seating on the top tier of the amphitheatre. The sloping hill above had picnic blankets and red Adirondack chairs making up the balance of seating required for the entire group.
The Barenaked Ladies took the stage for a memorable concert. The band tailored songs and banter to the client’s business and company, special guests from the audience were invited on stage to sing with them, the dance floor was packed with over 300 guests.
